BUYERS NOTES
Dwarf cousins of the common daisy, these sun-loving plants form neat mounds of smooth leaves from which emerges a mass of single, whitepetalled flowers with their familiar bright yellow button centres. Plants will self-seed and are a good choice for ground cover and rock gardens.
Sowing Information:
Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a sheltered, shady site in a well-prepared seed bed about 6mm (¼in) deep. Germination takes 14-21 days.
Growing Information:
Thin seedlings out to 10-15cm (4-6in) apart when they are large enough to handle and finally transplant to flowering site in autumn, 23cm (9in) apart, in full sun or part shade for flowering the following spring. Plants perform best in moderately moist, but well-drained soil.
