1. Let us know the proposed wording & your preferred plaque material.
2. We'll email you a draft and quotation so you can view the scale and spacing of the words.
3. Once approved by you, we'll get it produced and we'll attach the plaque to your chosen bench. Please allow two weeks from confimation of the text to the arrival of the plaque.
- Brass Plaque - £65
Offering a traditional style look for your inscription. A standard size of plaque is 50mm high x 153mm wide with a maximum word count of 18 over 5 lines. Other sizing is available on request - please enquire.
- Stainless Steel Plaque - £69.00
Providing a contemporary style look with a silver shine that will not rust. A standard size of plaque is 50mm high x 153mm wide with a maximum word count of 18 over 5 lines. Other sizing is available on request - please enquire.
- Direct Wood Engraving - £169.00
Your inscription is carved directly into the timber with a 'straight cut' by a computer-aided engraving machine. A direct engraving will mellow down along with the bench to a silver/grey finish if left untreated. A maximum word count of 30 over two lines is allowed, logo engraving is available with suitable artwork.
BENCH ANCHORS
Should you wish to fix your bench more permanently to an area so that it cannot be easily moved there are two types of anchors available, designed for different surfaces.
- Soft Ground Anchor - BA1 £80 / BA2 (includes installation tool) £105
A soft ground anchor kit avoids the need for concrete. Installation is quick and easy without any mess. Anchors come with solid brass plates that screw onto the outside legs. These have sleeves to allow the anchors to pass through and penetrate the lawn surface. When an anchor approaches its maximum depth (500mm) a curved fluke is released to grip the bench further into the surface, adding more security.
- Hard Ground Anchor - BA3 £45
Bolt down anchors are designed to be used with concrete. They have a maximum depth of 110mm and require a 20mm masonary drill bit to install them.
