Care Instructions

Wooden furniture should be cleaned occasionally with soapy water. It can be treated with specially formulated care products to give a beautiful rich finish and enhance the look of the wood. Material: 

Roble is a premium quality hardwood. It has light golden honey tones and has a smooth lustre and texture. Its closely interlocked grain means it is on a par with teak in terms of its strength, durability and excellent water-resistant properties, a fantastic choice for outdoor garden furniture the Irish and British climate. It has an expected life span up to 35 years.
Roble is sourced from Bolivia and is FSC® 100% certified, which means the wood is sourced from a responsible, sustainable provider.

• Alexander Rose provides a premium storage cover as an optional add-on. The cover is designed to be removed and installed easily so you can enjoy your furniture straight away when needed, and comes with ties and cords for securing to the furniture.

Alexander Rose specialises in designing and manufacturing quality benches has an industry leading 10 year warranty. They offer an engraving service with three options for your commemorative plaques or inscriptions.

1. Brass Plaque - £49.00
   Offering a traditional style look for your inscription. A standard size of plaque is 50mm high x 153mm wide with a maximum word count of 18 over 5 lines. Other sizing is available on request - please enquire.
   
2. Stainless Steel Plaque - £89.00
   Providing a contemporary style look with a silver shine that will not rust. A standard size of plaque is 50mm high x 153mm wide with a maximum word count of 18 over 5 lines. Other sizing is available on request - please enquire.
   
3. Direct Wood Engraving - £169.00
   Your inscription is carved directly into the timber with a 'straight cut' by a computer-aided engraving machine. A direct engraving will mellow down along with the bench to a silver/grey finish if left untreated. A maximum word count of 30 over two lines is allowed, logo engraving is available with suitable artwork. 
   

BENCH ANCHORS
Should you wish to fix your bench more permanently to an area so that it cannot be easily moved there are two types of anchors available, designed for different surfaces. 

• Soft Ground Anchor - BA1 £80 / BA2 £105
  A soft ground anchor kit avoids the need for concrete. Installation is quick and easy without any mess. Anchors come with solid brass plates that screw onto the outside legs. These have sleeves to allow the anchors to pass through and penetrate the lawn surface. When an anchor approaches its maximum depth (500mm) a curved fluke is released to grip the bench further into the surface, adding more security.
  
  
  
• Hard Ground Anchor - BA3 £45
  Bolt down anchors are designed to be used with concrete. They have a maximum depth of 110mm and require a 20mm masonary drill bit to install them.
  

• Northern Ireland and Mainland UK qualifies for FREE delivery.
• Republic of Ireland, £15 delivery supplement applied at checkout.
• Please allow 5 - 10 days for delivery although we can often deliver in 3 - 4 working days. 

Standard Delivery days are typically Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. Please contact us if you have specific delivery requirements.

Depending on location, we may use our own vehicles or we may use the services of trusted haulage partners for pallet deliveries. Once we receive your order, we will get in touch with you to advise dispatch date and delivery timescale.  For pallet deliveries, goods are typically unloaded to rear of lorry using a tail lift. Pallets are typically left on your driveway providing there is a suitably low kerb and access. A signature is normally required upon delivery. Delivery can be made without signature providing you give consent.

We are here to help if anything goes wrong. We do ask if your order has not arrived in a satisfactory condition please make the driver aware of the damage and sign for the parcels as damaged upon receipt. 

It's also recommended that damage or shortage must be notified to us by email within 3 working days of the delivery of the goods.
