BUYERS NOTES
Root length: 15-20cm (6-8in) A quick growing second early Nantes. Carrot Nigel F1 produces heavy crops of cylindrical, smooth-skinned, good flavoured, coreless bright orange roots, which resist cracking once washed. Stores well for winter use.
Sowing Information:
Sow March to June. Sow seeds thinly, 1cm (¬Ωin) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Information:
Thin seedlings when large enough to handle, allowing 2cm (1in) between roots. Grow Spring Onion White Lisbon next to carrots as the smell helps deter Carrot Fly.
Aftercare Information:
Prefers well drained, moist, rich conditions.
