Experience a flavour sensation with this extra sweet carrot, which also contains high levels of beta carotene. Carrot Sugarsnax 54 produces long, 25cm (10 inch) roots of exceptional quality, so sweet you can just lift the roots, wash and serve in chunks in salads.

Sowing Information:

Sow April to June, at 4 week intervals. Sow seeds thinly, 1cm (¬Ω inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart.

Growing Information:

Thin seedlings to 5cm (2 inches) apart when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack. Grow Spring Onion White Lisbon next to carrots as the smell helps deter Carrot Fly.

Aftercare Information:

Keep well watered for best quality roots. Later sowings can be lifted and stored.
